Tirkwa runner Estimated age is from theTHIS RUG'S STORY: Say hello to this stunning one of a kind vintage Azilal! I named it Tirkwa, after the word meaning "turquoise" in Darija (Moroccan Arabic). It has the prettiest mix of teal, yellow, and black on a warm creamy wool base. Usually you see this type of diamond pattern on a Beni Ourain or Marmoucha tribal rug, but this one is from the High Atlas mountain region of Ait Bougamez. I had the opportunity to travel to this special village back
