Antique 18K Yellow Gold Raphael's Cherub Pendant pearl earring A circa 1860s Victorian eraA lovely antique French pendant of the infamous cherub from The Sistine Madonna by Raphael crafted in 18K Gold. This hexagon shaped pendant features an embossed cherub with tousled curls and wings delicately spread behind him, his elbows resting on soft, plumy clouds, bordered by a decorative engraved frame. The back of the pendant has beautiful inscription " Reine, 19 Octobre, 1919". The French word "reine" translates to "queen" in English. Legend
