When traveling the machined handle on our test reel was easy to break down by simply rotating the knob which is attractively adorned with the familiar Abu Garcia seal

they are of course very fine reels, but I've noted some play in the bale-arms and the spool itself has play along the axis of the spindle, caused (inside the reel) by play in the arm from the driving gear to the spindle
