I usually use these as my long rigger and/ or shotgun position to entice a lazy fish that may not want to go after one of my more aggressive swimming offerings

Ideally, all the bait for the day can be caught in one good throw
The key is locating the fish and often in high and especially dirty water, finding fish is remarkably easy
Is braided mainline better than monofilament
